They say the best times in life are those money can't buy,
but you can always do that with food!

So this year, we splurge a little, afterall it's gina's birthday oi!
therefore we headed straight to the 60th floor in UOB building & we arrived at -
Si Chuan Dou Hua :D

to kickstart, this is the difference between a 21 & a 20;

& this is what they usually do in a restaurant :x

but we paid $15 just to see him perform, cause we didnt even touch the tea! >:(

#1: shark's fin

yeaaa i know it's cruel to eat shark's fin yadayada;
but i couldn't resist but say.. IT'S SO NICE *drop down and melt*
plus there's really shark's fin in it! gosh, my mouth is watering..

#2: softshell crab, jelly, cold prawns, veggie & pork slice

omgomgomgomg, give me the cold prawn again plssssssss!
& the softshell crab! the melts-in-your-mouth-cripsyness... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

#3: fish, scallops+veggie & icannotrememberwhatspicyfood

didnt eat the fish thou, but the scallops were OHMYdkhgfakdsjhgkahdgGOOD!
tender, fresh with a hint of spicyness! sedap!

#4: KU RU MEAT

SHIOK! i think we had 2 of these! marvellllloussssssssss

#5: toufu & veggie pot

hahahhahahahah when we reach this dish, we could barely eat but bao still want a roasted chix!

#6: MANGO PUDDING

Award of the day shld go to pudding manz!
i think i had 3 of these! I JUST COULDNT STOP EATING!

#7: beancurd with wolfberries

taste... ahahha

So i think that shld sum up our dinner!
That night was really great, although we couldnt see anything outside the window
& i was constantly craving for the mango pudding.

I think what matters what that, gina was really happy! :)
(and of course the remaining 4 of us too :D:D:D)

what's most fabulous, mavellous, fantastic, splendid is that -
gina mentioned that, that night was the night she laughed so much, after so long!

who say you need big things to be happy?
maybe we should all pay attention to tiny weeny little things in life, so we can all be contented :)

I was happy on Monday,
because I caught a movie with nadirathehotpancake!

I was happy on Friday,
because i got to meet up with FAT4 & rachael, and spent a night full of laughters, while dining on the 60th floor :)

I was happy today,
because lynnster & me ate some super delicious cheese buns, saw 2 local actors/artists, lynnster & her 'Spoon Sq', the super hilarious Mao's poses, the imitations of Mao's poses - all of these, in less than an hour's time.

u can see scooters/motobikes with at least 3people on it, i think the most amazing one i saw was 4 (or 5) skinny construction worker together on 1 small motor!

- conquering the 2nd largest roller coaster with 10 spinning rounds (十环过山车）

hahah dunno whether it’s birthday luck or smth,
he was attracting attention from the wrong gender HAHAHA!

so anyway, there were only 3 people,
& 4 main course + a side dish.
the waitress was almost “staring” at us in disbelief HAHAH!

thumbs up for the sausages wrapping in bacon & chesse!
porky chop was so~so, the pipping hot wedges hit the spot!
carrot’s burger got onions, so that’s out for me :S

and so we left NYNY with bloated stomaches,
and head off to suntec & Esplanade!

In conjunction of National Day, a church is currently having this 100k Blessing campaign:

This is where the church members bless 100 000 people they love for a specific need or desire in their life.

What amazed (and touched me) was:
Esther, a girl whom I barely know from the net - actually sms-ed me 2 nights ago, and told me that she wish to keep me in her prayers & she will keep praying for me until my specific need/desire come true.

&

today 1 of my Kumon student was at CP to spread the blessings with her family.
She actually waited till I came out from the shop & told me that she wanted to bless and keep me in her prayers too.
Mind you, she's just a K1/K2 kid.

Sometimes, your loved ones might not even think of you;
And yet the people you never thought of, actually wanted to keep You in their daily prayers.
